Is it dangerous for a 1 year old puppy to go on a 3 hour flight plus about 2 or 3 hours of car ride?
I plan on going to Mexico in 2 months and I plan to take my puppy with me since I don’t have anybody to look after her and plus I will be gone for about a month and putting her in a puppy hotel/daycare seems kinda lonely.
My mom’s friend is a pilot so we are all chippin in to rent a small plane specially since we’ve heard some bad stories about how commercial airlines treat animals badly so we went with that decision.
Is it stressful for an animal? is there a way the vet can give me something that can calm her down or maybe make her drowsy?
Do you have any personal experiences traveling with animals? Please let me know. I really don’t want my puppy to be stressed out and just want her to enjoy the trip.
